A quick glimpse at what we’re working on

Feature Updates

OK, so we mentioned last week that we've been working on quite a few improvements to The City. Now, we've been able to sneak into the development environment and take some screenshots. Some of what you see might change a little before we release, but this will give you a look at some of what we're planning to deploy soon.

Layout Improvements

Over the past few years, we've been able to learn a lot about what people like to do in The City, so we're adjusting the layout to make it easier for you to do what you want to do.

In the navigation panel, you'll notice some new options. First, you'll see the Messages tab, which used to be called Conversations. Since this is one of the most highly-used features in The City, we're making it really easy to get to.

Right below that, you'll see the Calendar tab, which will make it a whole lot simpler for you to get involved in the things going on in your church.

We're also moving the search box into the upper-right corner of the page. Why? Because that's where everyone expects it to be. It's also going to search everything now ... people, groups, anything posted in any of your groups ... everything!

And, since everybody loves making friends, we're making that even easier for you to do by suggesting some people in your church that you might want to add as friends. The goal is to help you build deeper relationships using The City.

As things get closer to finalized we'll be posting some more screenshots on Twitter. So, if you want to keep up to speed, check us out there.
