Brad House, Community Pastor from Mars Hill Church, and Shawn Wood, Experiences Pastor from Seacoast, share how The City helps their churches find more volunteers.

“The City gives us, especially the campus pastors the ability to speak directly into what their campus needs for volunteers in a way that is very targeted.” ~ Brad House, Community Pastor, Mars Hill Church

Conversation Transcript:

Eric:  How has The City helped you find more volunteers for the service opportunities in the church and getting people to be children’s ministry volunteers, ushers and that kind of thing?

Brad:  I think the ability to post the needs and get them into every group is a big deal. Before the only real avenue we had from that was from the pulpit and it makes it real difficult when you have 9 sites, so you have to try and fit in announcements on what you need and that gets drowned out with all the other things going on.

So The City gives us, especially the campus pastors the ability to speak directly into what their campus needs for volunteers in a way that is very targeted. I think that is the goal of The City – targeted communication.
